FAQ

Many people are hypersensitive to certain substances, for example people with contact allergies. Because Klok’s products carry the Asthma Allergy Nordic label, we ensure that our products only contain substances that have a low risk of allergy. The formulations do not contain perfume and dyes. People develop a contact allergy through frequent contact with a substance that can trigger an allergic reaction and to which the immune system reacts abnormally. Once a contact allergy to a particular substance has developed, this sensitivity usually remains for a lifetime. As soon as the skin comes into contact with this substance again, it will react to it with eczema, for example. Products with the Asthma Allergy Nordic label are considered beneficial for those who suffer from asthma, allergy or other sensitivity – and for everyone else who wants to avoid perfumes and allergens. Unfortunately, an allergic reaction can never be completely ruled out. This is because new allergenic properties of certain substances are regularly discovered. A product is awarded with the Asthma allegy Nordic label based on the most recent scientific knowledge.

The Klok detergents Klok do not contain any perfume or dyes, they also only contain substances that give a low risk of allergies. The skin is therefore under minimal stress. This makes the detergents very suitable for washing clothes and bedding for babies and children.

Yes, you can, but we do not recommend it. With Klok white washing powder, your laundry will also be radiant white and extraordinarily clean at lower temperatures. Washing at high temperatures also costs more energy and is more harmful to the environment. For more information, see www.washright.com

Low washing temperatures are often used today. This means you use less energy, so it is better for the environment. Many clothes should also not be washed warmer than at 30 ° – 40 ° C. With the latest developments in washing machines and detergents, your daily laundry will be hygienically clean, even at low temperatures. Make sure that you do not leave dirty, wet laundry too long before you wash it (in a damp environment, bacteria grow fastest). Also make sure that the clean wet laundry does not remain in the washing machine for too long. It is also important that the drum is not overloaded.

The laundry will then not be able to rotate properly and will therefore not be properly cleaned. Most bacteria found in laundry do not pose a health risk. Especially when you and your family members are healthy. For example, if a family member is ill and you still want to take extra measures, we recommend washing at 60 ° C. If it is not possible to wash the laundry at this high temperature, you can also wash at a lower temperature with a detergent that has a bleaching system, such as Klok white washing powder. We recommend that you always check the textile labels carefully before washing

If you have a washing machine with a larger drum, you can wash larger loads, usually 6 to 7 kg. This can be very practical for large laundry such as a duvet or for more laundry at the same time. That means fewer washes and therefore savings in time, money and energy. With a larger load of laundry, there is of course also more dirt in the laundry. That is why you will have to dose more washing powder. At Klok you can add 40 ml of washing powder to the normal dosage as standard, depending on the water hardness and soiling of your laundry.

If you are not sure whether you have a washing machine with a larger capacity, you can read this in the manual of your washing machine.

Klok dishwashing detergent distinguishes itself from other providers through the Asthma Allergy Nordic Label and the European Ecolabel and thereby guarantees high quality.

Because Klok detergent does not contain perfume, it is particularly gentle on the skin and takes the environment into account.

Klok All-in-1 dishwasher tablets do not contain phosphates. But the negative effects of water hardness (such as limescale) must be counteracted. That is why Klok uses a unique, vegetable ingredient that is made from the roots of the chicory plant instead of phosphates. This natural ingredient is unbleached and therefore visible in the tablets as small brown speckles.

Glassware appears to be able to weather in a dishwasher after frequent use. This weathering may become visible in the form of scratches, white, indestructible deposits in the form of lines or spots, and / or rainbow-like discoloration. Glass corrosion is irreparable damage to the glassware.

There are a number of factors that influence the degree and speed of weathering of the glass. These factors include:

  • The production method of the glass
  • The quality of the glass (composition)
  • The temperature of the selected dishwashing program
  • The dishwasher detergent
  • The dosage of the detergent
  • The hardness of the tap water
  • Use of special salt (and the set dosage)

Glass corrosion can never be completely prevented, but the combination of a good detergent and the correct use of the dishwasher can greatly limit the corrosion. Klok All-in-1 dishwasher tablets are formulated in such a way that they protect your glasses against corrosion as much as possible. It is very important to never set the salt dosage of your dishwasher too high, as this accelerates the development of glass corrosion. In combination with Klok All-in-1 dishwasher tablets, no softening salt needs to be used, unless there is hard water in your place of residence (= above 16 ° dH)
